About the Program

The Executive MBA Program, entering its 22nd year, is designed for experienced business executives. It is offered by the Southern University Faculty of Business. Classes meet on the campus of Southern University Bangladesh. The Executive MBA Program is structured so that executives can complete all academic requirements within one year while continuing to handle their professional responsibilities full time. This is accomplished by offering courses on Fridays OR four evenings, with an independent research project.

The program benefits both the company and the executive. Organizations have the opportunity to strengthen management resources, and participating executives are able to upgrade managerial skills and improve opportunities for advancement into higher management.

The extensive business experience of both faculty and the Executive MBA candidates, use of the seminar method in most classes, and the deliberate selection of students from diverse commercial, functional, and professional areas afford a stimulating intellectual experience.

Southern Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is a program of 3 semesters 42 credit hours for experienced professionals with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university and has substantial work experience. Students may choose a concentration area upon completion of the required core courses. The students will complete a capstone project for this degree program.
